“I am inspired by things that are often overlooked, like the beauty that emanates from an object changed by time; dilapidating walls, buildings, cracked sidewalks, trains, the rust present on old tools made of corroded metal. My work focuses on texture and layers of color, always intertwining a fusion of the old with the new. I begin my work without any preconceived idea of what the finished work is going to look like. It is important to me that each piece I create reveals a bit of history hidden within. As in life, we all have a story to tell and I hope that my art will send the viewer into a beautiful journey of discovery.”
